Welcome to the blog of the Shuswap Association of Writers! SAW sponsors the Word on the Lake Writers’ Festival each year in May on the shores of BC’s Shuswap Lake in the charming city of Salmon Arm. 2014 marks our 11th festival. SAW is open to writers from beginners to published authors who wish to become better at the craft, and to meet with other writers. We sponsor a variety of readings and workshops throughout the year.
